Can the one company perform residential and commercial duct cleaning? Yes but they have two residential division and commercial division.
The duct cleaning equipment is absolutely different. The residential duct cleaning is done whit truck mounted equipment (commercial vacuum) whit gas engines they have to by outside. The commercial duct cleaning is done whit HAPA portable vacuum and compressor power from electrical engine. The risen for electrical power equipment is needed for the commercial division is massive indoor square feet of the commercial properties and the truck mounted equipment won’t be able to reach the commercial HVAC system. Don’t be confused from the names of those air duct cleaning tools all they do is creating negative pressure in the HVAC system whit the vacuum system and the air duct cleaning technicians are loosing the accumulated dust and debris stack in the vents (loosing the cavities).
